The KNO shall manage the personal information of users as important information, and try its best to ensure that the users' personal information is protected online while they are utilizing the Services provided by the KNO's website. Accordingly, the KNO will hereby abide by the privacy protection regulations in relevant laws that information and communication service providers must comply with and the Personal Information Protection Guideline legislated by the Ministry of Information and Communication, such as the Protection of Communications Secrets Act, Telecommunications Business Act, and Information and Communications Network Act. The KNO shall inform the users of the purposes and methods of using the personal information provided by the users, and what measures are being taken to protect that information through its privacy policies. The privacy policies of INO include the following.
Items of Personal Information to be Collected. The KNO shall collect the minimum amount of information necessary to provide Services.
- Essential Information: username / password / name / date of birth / gender / address / phone number / e-mail / statutory representative information in case of user age under 14 (name, date of birth, gender)
Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information
Personal information collected by the KNO is used only for the purposes specified below.
1. Membership registration
2. Personalized services for individual members
3. Demographic analysis (statistical analysis by user's age, gender, and area of residence)
4. Collecting statistics on the members' use of the Services, and reflecting them in the service policies (service reformation and expansion)
5. Terms of Payment
6. Provision of information on new services, new products or events The personal information provided by users shall be used to provide more optimized services and selected advertisements, and shall not be used for any purposes not specified in the membership agreement and privacy policy.
Sharing & Offering of Personal Information
The KNO shall not provide personal information to third parties except in the following circumstances based on laws and regulations.

If there are special regulations in the law such as the Law of Real Name Financial Transaction, Use and Protection of Credit information Act, Electronic Communication Fundamental Law, Telecommunications Business Act the Local Tax Act, Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Information and Communication Act, Bank of Korea Act, and Code of Criminal Procedure.(Personal information shall not be provided unconditionally, even if it has been requested by an administrative agency or an investigative agency in accordance with the laws and regulations, and shall be provided only in in response to a search warrant or in a written form signed by the head of the agency as stipulated in the law)

Consignment of Personal Information Processing
In principle, the KNO shall not entrust the processing of personal information to others without the consent of the user. However. the items currently entrusted by the KNO to process personal information with the consent of the user are as follows.

- Consigned tasks: member managing system, education system, sponsoring system, myOpera website operation
Period of possession and service of personal information: until the time of termination of the Consignment Agreement

- Consigned items: name, date of birth, gender, legal representative information (name, date of birth, gender), mobile phone number, e-mail)
- Consigned tasks: real name identification
- Period of possession and service of personal information: personal information is not stored separately by the consigned company since they already have it.

The consignment agreement shall be made in compliance with the laws and regulations related to the personal information protection, in which the prohibition of the provision of personal information to a third party, and focus of responsibility are clearly stipulated, and the KNO shall retain the contents of the agreement electronically in written form. In case of changing the consigned company, it shall be informed through a notice and the privacy policy on the KNO website.
Period of Possession & Service of Personal Information
In principle, the personal information of the users are destroyed without delay when the purpose of collecting and using the personal information is achieved. However, in case of reasons retaining information according to the relevant laws are as follows, personal information may be retained for the period specified below.
A. Records on Contract or Subscription Withdrawal

- Retention period: 3 months
Personal Information Destruction Procedure & Method
In principle, the personal information of the users are destroyed without delay when the purpose of collecting and using the personal information is achieved. The procedures and methods of destroying personal information by the KNO are as follows.
A. Destruction Procedure
- The personal information entered by a user for membership registration or other purposes shall be transferred to a separate database after the purpose is achieved (separate filing cabinet for paper), and shall be destroyed after saving for a certain period according to the internal policy and other relevant laws and regulations (refer to Period of Possession & Service of Personal Information)
- The aforementioned personal information shall not be retained or used for any other purpose unless it is retained by law.
B. Method of Destruction
- The personal information printed on paper shall be destroyed by shredding or incineration.
- The personal information stored in the form of electronic files shall be deleted using a technical method that cannot reproduce the record.
Browsing/Correction of Personal Information
A user can view or correct his/her personal information held by KNO at any time. A member may view or correct personal information by clicking [Edit Profile] by themselves, or personal information administrator by e-mail for follow-up.
When a user requests the correction of errors in personal information, the KNO shall not use the personal information until the correction is completed. Withdrawal of Consent to Collection, Use, Provision of Personal Information
A user may withdraw at any time the consent of collection, use, and provision of personal information through a process such as membership registration. A user may withdraw consent on the website or by contacting personal information administrator via e-mail or other means, who will take the necessary measures immediately, such as the deletion of personal information.
Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and Method of Exercising Rights
A user or his/her legal representative may view or modify their registered personal information including the personal information of children under the age of 14 at any time, and may request withdrawal of membership. In such cases, it may be difficult to use all or part of the Services.
Users including children under the age of 14 may view or edit their personal information by clicking "Edit Profile," withdraw membership (withdraw consent) by clicking "Membership Withdrawal" for identification, or may contact the personal information administrator in writing, by phone, or by e-mail for immediate follow-up.
When a user requests the correction of errors in their personal information, the KNO shall not use the personal information until the correction is completed. And if any incorrect personal information is provided to a third party, the KNO shall notify the processing result to the third party to ensure that correction is made.
KNO shall ensure that the personal information that has been canceled or deleted at the request of a user or legal representative as specified in the "Period of Possession and Service of Personal Information" is viewed or used for any other purpose.
Technical/Administrative Protection Measures for Personal Information
The KNO shall manage the personal information of the users for safety assurance method to ensure that personal information is not lost, stolen, leaked, altered or damaged, by taking the following technical and administrative measures.
Contact of Personal Information Administrator or Person in Charge
The KNO shall provide a window to receive user opinions and complaints regarding personal information protection. Anyone with complaints regarding personal information is recommended to give his/her opinion to the personal information administrator of the KNO, who will then take immediate action upon receipt and notify the result of processing. Meanwhile, a member who has a dispute about personal information with the KNO may request the processing of the dispute to the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee operated by the Korea Internet and Security Agency for quick and effective settlement.
